Jaguar Land Rover Getting Serious About The Purchase Of Aston Martin
The whispers have been consistent through the past several months concerning the Aston Martin Company needing help of some kind to continue into the future of car making. Latest reports, according to CarsUK.net, is the parent company of JLR—Tata—and their leaders met with Aston Martin officials last week and both sides are very close to a deal. In fact, the Birmingham Post is calling prospects of a sale “imminent”.
There are experts in agreement that Jaguar Land Rover would be the best fit with Aston Martin, as some are saying Toyota has an outside chance to buy the company. JLR’s technology and innovation would translate and have an easier laterale move to Aston Martin and their designers. And logistically it would be a smart move as currently the two car-makers both inhabit a manufacturing plant in Gaydon, England, a suburb of Birmingham.
If Jaguar Land Rover and Aston Martin due indeed get together it should go without saying the auto industry (us included of course) will be taking notice and waiting with baited breath for the new vehicles.
