Land Rover Expedition Comes to an End
The great Land Rover off road journey has ended but certainly it was a fantastic ride for the team. The cross country journey, popularly dubbed the Land Rover Expedition America was followed by many die-hearted Land Rover fans and automotive experts. The team of four LRs covered a total of 4,000 miles purely off road, travelling through the most dangerous paths and testing the agility, strength and endurance of the company’s most prized vehicles.
Team leader and veteran Tom Collins said that this Trans-American off roading experience was simply amazing and highlighted to many people the fruitful outcomes of 30 years of pure dedication to top quality manufacturing and research. The team travelled across the RockyMountain; starting from North Carolina and closing off in Oregon.
Collins admitted that the Colorado leg of the journey was the most interesting experience in the entire trip since the challenge was not speed but rather driving skills. Fortunately, the team comprised of some of the best drivers in the world who easily managed the hilly and in some cases, slippery terrain.
The Land Rover Expedition America is the first group that has ever ventured out on such a heroic task. Staff at Land Rover America proudly updated the public on the progress of the team right throughout the journey. Many automotive experts agreed that the success of this cross country off road trip speaks volume about the high quality products that Land Rover has to offer. Certainly, this automotive company should be commended for a job well done!
