Land Rover Seen Testing Long-Wheelbase Range Rover SVR
Since Land Rover has been the king of luxury SUVs, many other automakers have tried to dethrone the brand. Land Rover reacts accordingly by expanding and improving various models and features.
A camouflaged prototype was spotted at JLR’s test center at the Nürburgring, and it could be the new Range Rover Sport SVR.

According to AutoBlog, it appears to be based on the long-wheelbase version of the Range Rover that was introduced nearly a year ago. So, what does this mean? JRL’s new Special Vehicle Operations department may be preparing an SVR version of the Range Rover L, most likely called the new Range Rover Sport SVR.
It will probably feature the same 5.0-liter supercharged V8 as the XFR-S, XJR, F-Type R and have a 550-horsepower engine.
The prototype featured a sportier chassis, enhanced aerodynamics and upgraded brakes. All of these features would help keep the power in check and give Bentley’s forthcoming SUV a run for its money.
