New Year’s Eve Celebration Downtown Naperville
If you will be in Naperville on New Year Eve, take a trip downtown. There are more than enough activities planned for the entire family as we ring in the New Year together! Downtown Naperville business owners along with its partners have planned a Family-Friendly New Year’s Eve Celebration that will start at 12 noon and closes off just a little passed dinner time, 5pm. And guess what? It is all FREE so you can’t afford to miss out on the excitement. Here is the order of events.
Start at Main & Jefferson
Your first stop is at Main & Jefferson to register all members of your family and collect a schedule of activities to include face painting for the kids and a fortune teller visit for the young adults and even parents. Some families will be randomly selected for $50 gift cards if they give correct answers to questions asked. Ensure you get the sheet of clues for the scavenger hunt to be held later in the day.
Enjoy the Activities
Next stop is wherever your feet take you. For the children they might take-off to the face painting area or get a closer look at the jugglers’ performance. The restaurants will also be open just in case you need to fill up the tank ahead of the afternoon’s activities.
Early Evening Countdown
The Mayor, A. George Pradel and CLTV News Anchor Dolly McCarthy will host the early evening countdown that starts at 6pm. There will be the usual midnight countdown so no worries.
Keep yourself and loved ones safe this holiday by planning ahead and selecting a designated driver. Bill Jacob’s Land Rover wishes everyone a happy and safe New Year!
