Nothing Challenges 2014 Range Rover Sports
If you are not convinced that the 2014 Range Rover Sport is a powerful vehicle then you should see its latest driving challenge. An experienced race car driver put the new SUV to the test by hauling it across the dangerous, unleveled and sandy Saudi Arabia’s Empty Quarter.
Captured in a video less than six minutes long, the 2014 Range Rover Sports is seeing in action as it easily trumps over canyons, smashes through snow storms and even recover from a minor glitch. It was a terrific ride that certainly highlighted the engineering prowess of the sports vehicle. View the video on the Motor Authority website here:
In addition, there was a twist to this challenge. Unlike the other driving challenges that took weeks or several days to complete, the Empty Quarter Challenge had to be completed within a day. Revving up killer speed on the sandy canvass, the excited race car driver was pleased to complete this challenge in a little over ten hours. Interestingly this was an unmodified production vehicle crossing the largest sand desert in the world. With this recorded time, there is no need to second guess the speed and performance of the 2014 Range Rover Sports.
This vehicle is now on sale in the US market and customers can choose from two engine types. The first, 3.0-liter supercharged V-6 with horsepower and a 5.0-liter supercharged V-8 with 510 horsepower. Pick whatever engine type suits your needs! Be on the look-out for the next driving challenge, word on the street is that it will be epic!
